Marco Massignan, originator of the method along with his wife Elena Dell’Orto, is an Italy-based trainer, shamanic practitioner and writer who received direct teachings and followed a traditional apprenticeship with various Native American medicine people.
In 2004 Marco and Elena created Nemeton, Institute for Shamanic and Systemic Art, which is now one of southern Europe’s main schools in the field, offering trainings and seminars in Italy and abroad.
